Introducing Libxa News
A second site at libxa-news.vyloxi.com, where every package in the ecosystem is documented and every release is explained. This site kept giving each package three sentences and a link, which is not documentation.
There is now a second site: libxa-news.vyloxi.com.
It exists because this one had started doing two jobs badly. A framework site should answer "what is LibxaFrame and how do I use it". A growing list of packages, each with its own documentation, release history and reasons for existing, is a different question, and squeezing it into an ecosystem page meant every package got three sentences and a link.
What is on it
Packages lists everything in the ecosystem, each with a page carrying its documentation: what it does, what it needs, how to install it, and the parts worth knowing before you do.
Seven so far: the framework, the starter kit, Secure, Toolkit, the installer, Desktop, and the agent skill.
News covers releases and the engineering behind them. Mostly the bugs, because that is where the interesting part is. A feature list tells you what something does; a bug tells you what it is actually like.
A few that are up already:
- Why encryption with a single key is encryption you will never rotate, and what Secure does instead
- A profiler that reports through
Server-Timing, because a debug bar has nowhere to render on a JSON response - How a package could not ship a migration at all, and why nothing said so
- What the framework actually looks for when you write a package
What is not on it
Anything that does not exist. The package directory lists only what you can install today, with a version number.
That rule came from this site, which for a while advertised Forge, Vapor, LibAdmin and Cloud as though they were products you could use. They were the plan. But every card on that page linked to the docs and promised something, and a visitor who follows one and finds nothing learns that the other cards cannot be trusted either, including the ones describing things that are real and shipping. They have since been taken down until they exist.
This site is not going anywhere
libxa.vyloxi.com stays what it is: the framework, the manual, the full changelog across every product, and the Desktop page. What moves is the per-package depth, which never fitted here.
The two link to each other, and News in the menu above now goes to the new site.
